Alpha 1350XS

The Alpha 1350XS introduces the highly capable XS lathes range – all equipped with the ultra-high speed Fanuc 21i TB CNC control with colour touch screen and two bespoke software systems: Colchester-Harrison’s acclaimed ‘Alpha System’ and Manual Guide i.

The ‘Alpha System’ is known to thousands of satisfied Alpha users as the simplest and most shop-floor friendly teach lathe control in the world. It enables the Alpha 1350XS operator to perform a wealth of semi-automatic turning operations.

It is the perfect operational partner for Manual Guide i, - the latest and most powerful conversational programming system from Fanuc. Manual Guide i, with a more powerful graphics package than many commercial CAD/CAM systems, offers the most comprehensive and feature-laden aid that any lathe programmer could want.

This makes the Alpha 1350XS particularly suitable for precision turning work in a wide range of applications, while the 1000 Series control makes the 1350XS an ideal machine for education and training.

The technical specifications of the Alpha 1350XS correspond to the Alpha 1350XT and are: swing over bed - 350mm, distance between centres – 650mm, main motor power – 7.5kW (10hp), constant power range – 86-3500rpm.
