Alpha 1550XT

The Alpha 1550XT is a reliable, ‘no frills’ high performance Manual/CNC machine capable of performing all turning operations to an excellent standard, with simple set-up procedures and easy-to-use controls.

The Alpha 1550XT has a swing over bed of 554mm capacity, with 2m/3m (2000mm & 3000mm) distance between centres, and is easily controlled from the Alpha T touch-screen control panel.

The machine’s superb TurnMate i conversational programming system software contains a full range of cycles on the Operation Selection Screen (including profile, taper, thread, bore, drill, tap etc.). During the Operation Execution Screen cycle, each operation is clearly shown on the touch-screen, along with speed, feed, tool and axis positional data.

The Alpha 1550XT can perform virtually any turning operation, and most operators learn to use the control system in less than half a day!
