Tornado T6MS
The Tornado T6MS has the same basic specifications as the T6M. It is equipped with a second sub-spindle has a max. spindle speed of 6000rpm, a 5.5kW spindle motor, max. turning diameter of 220mm, and 42mm spindle bore capacity.
The exciting Tornado T6MS is a full five-axis turning centre with the important addition of a powerful second spindle to facilitate the full benefits of ‘single-hit’ machining. By transferring the component to the second spindle, extra turning and milling can be completed to finish the job in a ‘single hit’.
The Tornado T6MS has a 15kW main spindle motor and a sub-spindle motor of 5.5kW, both with full C-axis and disc brake. The well-proven Sauter Star-type turret is standard equipment, for easy access to both spindles.
Controlled by GE Fanuc's new 18i TB multi-axis CNC system, with full G-code programming plus new-generation conversational programming (Manual Guide i,) - it enables complex shapes to be produced from a graphical user interface.
For maximum productivity, ‘chuck’, integrated barfeeder and ‘Lights-Out’ unmanned machining packages are available.
