Tornado T4
The 2-axis T4 has a swing over bed of 410mm, giving a maximum turned length of 420mm and maximum turned diameter of 300mm. The T4 has a bar capacity of 54mm.
The Tornado T4 substantially extends the capacity of the Tornado series, offering even greater turning capability and opening new commercial opportunities.
It incorporates the same ‘Duo-Stable’ thermally- and dynamically-insulated production capsule as the Tornado T2 for unparalleled stability, leading to quicker warm-up times, higher turning accuracy and greater machining precision.
Traditionally-built CNC lathes with cast-iron beds cannot compete with the performance of a Tornado built with ‘Duo-Stable’ construction.
Like all other Tornado series lathes, the T4 is equipped with the very latest Fanuc Manual Guide i control for quick set-up times and efficient short runs, which are fast becoming the lifeblood of many engineering companies.
For longer runs, barfeeder and auto-loader versions are available.
