Tornado T10

The 2-axis Tornado T10 is a huge capacity machine with impressive technical statistics. Swing over bed is 600mm, bar capacity is 82.5mm and it has maximum turning dimensions of 550mm length and 360mm diameter.

The Tornado T10 is powerful and strong enough to handle the most challenging turning requirements. It’s also available with chucker option, bar feeder with auto loading and scheduling, or even complete automation, thanks to Colchester-Harrison's 'Lights Out' package.

Completing the line-up of Tornado 2-axis lathes, the Tornado T10 features the British manufacturer’s unique and patented ‘Duo-Stable’ construction, to enhance both thermal and dynamic stability

Duo-stable is an advanced engineering construction making use of an inert concrete composite encapsulated in a heavy duty fabrication and reinforced with a network of ribs. This creates a machine that is not only heavier but also up to 300 per cent more thermally and dynamically stable than traditional cast iron.
